Our wedding season at Whitetail is getting ready to start. We love winter on the farm. It gives us a lot of time to work on projects, but we are ready for spring. Spring brings weddings to the farm. We have missed our brides, grooms, and their families.
We are now booking weddings for 2023, and we though we would answer some frequently asked questions.
Do I have to use preferred vendors or can I choose my own vendor? At Whitetail, you can use the vendors of your choice. We want you to be able to pick any vendor you would like from the DJ to photographer.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day? We have some amazing outdoor options for your wedding, however we can't control mother nature. If it rains, we have a backup plan. You can get married inside the building. It has both heat and air conditioning.
Do I have to pay my rental fee all at once? You do not. We let you make payments. It is 1/3 of the rental fee down to book. The next payment is due three months later. Your last payment is due in another three months. This gives you six months to pay for your rental charge.
Once I book can I come back out to see the venue? Absolutely. We want you to be comfortable and prepared for your special day. We encourage you to bring anyone who is helping with the wedding as well as vendors out to the farm so you can get your wedding day plan made.
Are there any hidden fees? We do not charge any other fees. You are welcome to use any of our tables, chairs, benches, wine barrels, cake table etc. We do require you to have a liability insurance policy for the day of your event, but this is not a large expense.
May we have alcohol? Yes. You may have wine or beer. You will be required to get a temporary permit (which we can explain how to acquire).
Do you provide linens? We do not. There are rental companies where you can rent them or you can purchase them for your big day.
How many guests does your venue hold? Indoors you can seat 120 people comfortably.
Do you have bathroom facilities? Yes. There is one indoor bathroom, as well as two outdoors (and no these are not porta-potty).
If I choose a Sunday wedding, how do I make it work timewise? We allow you access to the venue on the Thursday before your wedding so you can have your rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and get a game plan on your set up.
Do you have a kitchen? Yes.
Our goal is for your special day to be amazing. We have tried to think of every detail to make it go as smoothly as possible. We have an amazing bridal suite with a dressing table and an area to relax. We are also working on a groom's quarters for the guys to hang out and get ready.
We are sure you have a lot more questions, and we would love to answer them for you or give you a tour of our venue. We truly want your day to be special and will do everything we can to make that happen.
Thanks to our bride and groom (aren't they stunning) for sharing these amazing photos from Wise Elephant Photography.
